Shared Rooms
Affordable, furnished dorm-style rooms shared by two people max.
A reliable housing resource for the right fit.
Caseworkers: Please review our house rules with your client before making a referral.
Housing Done Wright values strong relationships with caseworkers, social workers, agencies, community organizations and other professionals helping individuals find housing.
Our goal is to become a dependable housing resource you can turn to when you are working with someone who may be a good fit for our shared-living environment.
Housing Done Wright provides safe, clean, comfortable and affordable shared housing in the Phoenix area, including furnished private and shared-room options.
We want every referral to have the best possible opportunity for success: for the individual, the caseworker and the other members already living in the home.
Housing Done Wright operates shared homes where members may share kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, laundry facilities and other common spaces.
Because of this, it is extremely important that every person referred to Housing Done Wright understands the expectations of living in a shared environment.
Before referring someone, please make sure you reasonably believe the individual can consistently follow the rules and live respectfully with other members of the home. This includes expectations regarding:
Housing Done Wright is an independent shared-living environment. Our housing works best for individuals who are able to manage their daily activities, live cooperatively with others and follow established community rules.
Housing Done Wright is not intended to replace a supervised residential program, medical facility, behavioral-health facility, crisis center or other environment that provides continuous professional supervision.
Do I reasonably believe this individual can consistently follow the Housing Done Wright house rules and live respectfully in a shared-home environment?
If there is significant doubt about whether an individual can follow the rules or live successfully with others, Housing Done Wright may not be the appropriate housing option at that time.
Our goal is not simply to fill an available room. We want to create successful and sustainable housing placements.
We understand that many individuals referred by caseworkers may have an urgent need for housing. However, an immediate need for housing does not necessarily mean that every shared-housing environment will be the right fit.
We ask our community partners to consider both:
Making that distinction before the referral helps protect the individual, the other members of the home, the caseworker relationship and the long-term success of the placement.
Housing Done Wright does not want to simply receive one referral from your organization. We want to build relationships where caseworkers can rely on Housing Done Wright as a trusted housing resource whenever they are working with individuals who may be a good fit for our homes.
We encourage caseworkers and agencies to become familiar with:
The better our community partners understand Housing Done Wright, the easier it becomes to identify individuals who may have a successful experience living with us.
When you have someone who appears to be a good fit, we want you to feel comfortable reaching out to our team. We will clearly communicate available room types, pricing, availability, the screening process and the next steps.
Depending on availability, Housing Done Wright offers:
Affordable, furnished dorm-style rooms shared by two people max.
Furnished rooms for individuals who prefer additional privacy.
Larger furnished rooms, with some options appropriate for one or two people.
Availability, room types and pricing may vary by property. See current Phoenix pricing.
The individual begins by providing basic information:
The prospective member completes additional screening questions to help determine whether Housing Done Wright may be an appropriate housing option.
The prospective member reviews Housing Done Wright’s rules and community expectations. We strongly recommend that the caseworker review these rules with the individual as well.
If the individual moves forward in the process, they may tour an available property and meet with the Housing Done Wright team. This gives both sides an opportunity to determine whether the living arrangement appears to be a good fit.
The prospective member completes the official housing application.
Housing Done Wright conducts a background screening as part of the approval process.
If approved, the individual can review available housing options. Room placement depends on current availability and applicable Housing Done Wright policies.
The approved individual completes the required paperwork, payments, deposits and onboarding requirements.
Once everything is completed, the new member receives their move-in information and can begin living in their new home.
Housing Done Wright believes housing is essential. We also believe the best placements happen when the housing environment and the individual are a good match.
We appreciate caseworkers taking the time to understand our homes and helping clients understand what will be expected of them.
When you have an individual who can successfully live in a shared environment and follow the community rules, we would love the opportunity to work with you.

Safe. Clean. Comfortable. Affordable.
It’s more than just housing. It’s a fresh start.
